The Icynene Insulation System™
- Spray foam insulation creates a superior air-seal, effectively minimizing air leakage to deliver advanced moisture control, healthy air, and energy savings of up to 50%.
- Sprayed into walls, ceilings, attics, and floors and then it expands in seconds to create a soft foam insulation and air barrier system.
- Spray foam insulation provides ideal R-value levels and air-sealing in one step, without the need for labor-intensive sealing materials. By minimizing random air leakage (convection) - the source of up to half of a building's energy loss - Icynene delivers energy savings of up to 50%.
As an air barrier, Icynene minimizes the intrusion of outdoor allergens, odors and pollutants and works with proper mechanical ventilation to let occupants control the quality of air they breathe.
Icynene is 100% water-blown and does not produce harmful emissions that can compromise indoor air quality and diminish the insulation's rated R-value.
Icynene helps buildings qualify for Green Building Programs such as LEED and the NGBS (National Green Building Standard). |

THE CELLULOSE BENEFIT
Cellulose insulation can be installed in two methods, either blown in the attic or a sprayed in wall system. Cellulose maintains a consistently superior R-factor regardless of outdoor temperatures without shrinkage or settling.
- Cellulose is environmentally friendly, it is made from 87 % recycled wood fiber products and13% retardant. It is blended with a safe and non-toxic borate compound.
- Our cellulose products, Craftkote and Wallkote, produce an environment which is an unsuitable habitat for many insects; including roaches & termites. Borate compounds are also effective rodent deterrents, but is absolutely safe for humans.
- There is a natural fire retardant system by which the borate compounds are infused into the cellulose. In a situation in which a fire is in progress, there are no toxic chemicals emitted from cellulose as it heats, and the fire is slowed down or extinguished due to the release of a water vapor.

Owen's corning Propink Complete Blown-in Wall System ™
PROPINK installers can use the new Inspect-R Insulation Density Gauge to verify the R-value of Owens Corning PROPINK Complete fiber glass insulation in a wall cavity.† There are many benefits to using the Inspect-R Density Gauge:
- Non-destructive - No insulation samples required. Just place it against the wall and read the gauge.
- Fast - Results in seconds.
- Saves money - Use it to prevent under filling and overfilling the wall cavity.
- Convenient - It uses the same air compressor that is used for a pneumatic staple gun.
- Durable - It can take the abuse of the worksite and still deliver accurate results.
